MULTIPURPOSE ENGINEERING SOLUTION

VENTILATION

For high-quality and efficient ventilation the three-story house was equipped with two Jablotron air handling units with heat recovery that are equipped with CO2 sensors. The unit supplies an inflow of fresh and pre-heated air to the guest room, kitchen, and sleeping area. Exhaust air is taken from dirty areas such as toilets, storage rooms, and dressing rooms. The CO2 sensor signals the air handling unit to increase performance when it detects the presence of people in the room and, accordingly, an increase in the level of carbon dioxide.

The operation of the unit can be adjusted together with the Faber kitchen hood. In this case, the air will be taken only from the kitchen area, and the supply of fresh air will be made to the living area. Thus, odors from the kitchen will not spread throughout the house.

The ventilation and duct air conditioning system were combined. Slot diffusers ensure the most efficient air distribution in the house.

HEATING

For a high-quality heating system on the site, we installed a Viessmann Vitocal 200-S heat pump, a Viessmann Vitopend 100 W condensing boiler of gas type, Kampmann convectors, Kermi + Jaga radiators, as well as a floor heating system throughout the first floor and in bathrooms on the second and third floors.

The outside temperature should be up to -7 C to heat the house using an only heat pump. The boiler will be additionally connected to heating when the outside temperature is lower than -7C.

Radiators of the German brand Kermi are installed in the dressing rooms and children's rooms. The Kampmann floor convector is installed in the master bedroom, and in the sleeping area (bathroom and dressing room) there are also Jaga radiators.

A boiler room is located in the basement of the building. The heat pump, condensing boiler, and Viessmann buffer tanks (2 pcs.) are located in the boiler room. They provide power up the heat pump and water heating for four bathrooms.

AIR CONDITIONING 

Room cooling is performed via duct air conditioning from the Japanese brand Daikin. We chose duct air conditioning in order to avoid visual clutter in the rooms created by massive wall-mounted indoor units.

4 fan coil units are installed on the basement floor and can work for both - cooling and heating the premises.

Daikin duct air conditioners (3 pcs.) were installed on the second floor for high-quality cooling. To prevent unnecessary noise in the living room and the forced lowering of the ceilings the conditioners were installed directly in the dressing rooms. A Daikin ducted fan coil unit was also installed on the third floor in the master bedroom's dressing room.

Slot diffusers distribute cooled air in rooms as evenly as possible.

WATER SUPPLY, WATER TREATMENT, AND SEWERAGE

A radial pipeline, which consists of Uponor cross-linked polyethylene, and a sewage system based on Rehau, was designed for the water supply of four bathrooms and a kitchen. The installation of external and internal plumbing in the house was also performed by the specialists of our company.

Equipment from the Ukrainian brand Ecosoft was used for effective water treatment. 2 cylinders, which are intended for water purification were installed in the boiler room, and an ultraviolet lamp that disinfects water was additionally installed.
