Turnkey air conditioning system

The supply and exhaust ventilation system with heat and moisture recovery assumes the supply of fresh air to the premises and the removal of waste air. At the same time, it allows you to save up to 70% on heating, since with help of an enthalpy recuperator it heats and humidifies the supply streams due to heat and moisture taken from removed streams. The air circulates through the duct system, which are installed during the construction phase or during the renovation process. Air distribution is carried out using slot diffusers or ventilation grilles. As the most functional and efficient solution to date, we recommend supply and exhaust ventilation based on a VAV system, which allows large volumes of air to be supplied locally to those rooms where people are, while maintaining the air balance in the rest of the rooms.

For implementation of ventilation system, we use round galvanized steel (tin) air ducts. Due to circular cross-section, the minimum air resistance is ensured, which means less noise during the operation of the system. Such air ducts are easy to install and maintain, while providing high-quality air exchange in household and commercial facilities. In our projects we use tin air ducts of our own production.

For air distribution throughout the room, concealed slot diffusers are used, which are completely invisible in the interior. This is a stylish and extremely popular solution. In projects, we prefer linear diffusers from the TROX and Disair brands. A simpler and more economical option is to use ventilation grilles. They are more noticeable, however, they are realized in different sizes and colors, you can choose the most suitable for your interior design.

Plenum box is one of the important elements of the round duct system, which connects them to air distribution devices: grilles, diffusers or anemostats. Plenum boxes are made of galvanized steel and installed both for supply and for air intake - they are shown in diagram in blue and red, respectively. Suitable for all types of ceiling systems, can be insulated if necessary.

In our projects, we prefer to use a ducted air conditioning system. There are a number of reasons for this: duct air conditioners distribute chilled air flows more efficiently without creating drafts, moreover, they are hidden as much as possible in the interior, as they are mounted in the ceiling space. Air is supplied through ventilation grilles or slot diffusers. They can be installed in technical and household premises in order not to lower the ceilings in living rooms. We recommend paying attention to Daikin duct air conditioners as one of the highest quality and most efficient on the market.

The heat pump can act as a source of heat in the heating system - as the most efficient and energy-efficient unit. You can also consider a gas condensing boiler (as a more advanced type of gas boiler) or an electric boiler - as a fairly inexpensive and affordable option. The latter also has the advantage that it can be installed as an intermediate solution before purchasing a heat pump. When implementing heating, Alter Air experts recommend giving preference to an air-to-water heat pump, since it uses renewable resources, helps to save energy and can be used for hot water supply and even air conditioning (together with fan coil units).

For efficient space heating in frosty weather, we use floor convectors, for example, models from the Kampmann and Kermi brands. They are installed in the floor and only an inconspicuous grille remains outside. Heat is supplied from the bottom up, which makes heating as efficient as possible. Floor convectors are especially recommended for use near panoramic windows and in places with low window sills, they prevent cold air from entering the rooms, heat the room with high quality and at the same time preserve the aesthetics and style of the interior.

Underfloor heating is a low-temperature heat source. For comfortable use, it should not heat up to more than 26 ° C. We recommend the installation of underfloor heating to all our customers. The most optimal areas of application are bathrooms, bathroom, bedroom. Since the temperature of the underfloor heating cannot exceed the value indicated above, it is rational to connect heating using radiators or convectors in the event of frost. Together with the underfloor heating system, they will effectively heat the premises. You can always set the desired temperature yourself and further adjust it.

Organization of the water supply system to a large extent depends on the chosen equipment. XLPE pipes are considered quite effective. In our projects, we prefer to use the world famous brands Uponor, NanoFlex and GofraFlex. They are characterized by increased strength, great flexibility and 100% protection against oxygen permeability.

Before choosing a water treatment system for a house or apartment, you should send a water sample for analysis.
