Installation of air conditioning systems

A wall-mounted air conditioner is a household device that is used for cool rooms, usually no more than 100 sq. meters (maybe more). Most often these are:

•     apartments,
•     the shops,
•     separate rooms in offices,​
•     cottages.

The models will provide a rapid drop in temperature to the specified values, without overheating and without losing performance. Each model of the air conditioner has its own capacity, which is marked on the case and indicated in the technical passport. Therefore, it is not difficult to choose air conditioners for all rooms in the room.

Installation of a wall-type split system provides the installation of a separate outdoor and indoor unit. When installing the outdoor unit, brackets, a special stand, a mounting frame or other static structure are used. The external and internal units are interconnected by a freon line, which consists of copper pipes. Installation of indoor units is carried out in accordance with the wishes of the placement of the customer.

The duct air conditioner is installed behind a hem or hemmed ceiling, its installation is hidden. Thanks to their design, they can cool several rooms at the same time. The power of duct-type air conditioners is approximately 12 to 25 kW, which is enough to cool a small office, cottage or 4–5 room apartment.

Thus, the use of one duct-type air conditioner allows partly to solve the problems of both ventilation and air conditioning of an entire office, apartment, cottage and other premises. It is only necessary to take care of the correct calculation of air exchange, selection of the air conditioner according to the cooling capacity and static pressure, provide for the installation of an electric or water heater for heating the outside air in winter.

Installation of a duct air conditioner is quite difficult to implement, since more work is required. As a result, such equipment is completely hidden behind a hemmed ceiling, in a technical attic, etc. Only air distribution grilles give their presence.

For installation of cassette air conditioners, a suspended ceiling or simply high ceilings are required. If such conditions are not provided, then you should opt for other types of air conditioners. These devices distribute air well throughout the room thanks to the 4-way air supply.

If we talk about the installation of floor-ceiling air conditioners, then the main feature is the ability to install them both on the ceiling and on the wall.

The installation of central air conditioners is also not easy, which for efficient operation requires the installation of a system of air ducts, communications, ventilation, equipment, as well as the connection of power supply cables. Only after installing all these elements, such a system will work stable and efficiently.

Separately, it should be made of the installation of multi-zone and VRV/VRF systems, which provides the installation of one outdoor and several indoor units.

Today, dismantling a split system is a service no less relevant than the installation itself. When is it required?

1. You decided to replace the old air conditioner, which has served every conceivable time, and replace it with a modern inverter one;
2. The occurrence of a malfunction that cannot be repaired. It is more expedient to buy a new air conditioner;
3. It is planned to modernize the existing air conditioning system. Example: Several traditional split systems will be replaced with a modern VRV system.
